Kobelco Excavator Fault Code Diagnosis Essentials (Type 6)
The electronic control unit can automatically store and display detected abnormalities as fault codes on the multi-function monitor.
Display Method: Turn the start switch to the “ON” position. Within 10 seconds, press the buzzer stop switch 5 times consecutively to enter the fault code display screen. Up to 20 fault code screens are available, with the earliest fault displayed first. Fault data and engine hours will also be shown. The screen displays “Engine Hours + 3 Fault Data”. If more than 3 faults exist, the subsequent 3 data entries will be displayed every 5 seconds.
Page Navigation: Use the work mode selection switch and the buzzer stop switch to navigate. Work mode selection switch: Page forward. Buzzer stop switch: Page forward.
Stop Display: Turn the start switch to the “OFF” position.

Method for Clearing Fault History
Enter the fault code display screen.
Press and hold both the work mode selection switch and the buzzer stop switch for more than 10 seconds.
When “No abnormality” is displayed, all data is cleared.

Fault Code Diagnosis Essentials (SK200/210/230/250-6E Type)
Note: The difference between the SK200-6 and SK200-6E is that the 6E model lacks a back pressure sensor and negative pressure sensor. The swing sensor is located on the multi-way valve, and there is only one alarm code B-7. Other differences are minor.
